Retirement and Healthcare Cost – Are You Preparing?

We generally think once we qualify for Medicare at age 65, our insurance expenses will decrease, and we will have extra funds to enjoy life and do all the things we put off during our working years.

Healthcare costs are one of the top 4 retirement concerns for Americans according to a 2015 survey conducted by Bankrate.com.  I can see why! I have always felt on track with savings to maintain my lifestyle into my retirement years.  Through exposure to various clients and situations, I realized I need to buckle down and save extra pennies for my future with Medicare.

Medicare beneficiaries now have two options with how they receive their Medicare Benefits; either through fee for service Original Medicare or through a private health plan known as Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C Plans).

The cost of these options varies greatly, it takes an educated and experienced representative to assist beneficiaries in making the appropriate decision that will serve them best. Someone who can help to fit the plan to the person. Asking the questions like “how do you use your healthcare?” and “do you travel?” do you stay local?  Are but a few questions that we need to determine before choosing the right plan for you!

In the confusing world of Medicare, my goal is to help alleviate some of the stress around it for my clients. My service is free to you.  I am here to answer questions for anyone who is unsure or needs help.  A more secure retirement is much easier when you plan your finances.

Coming from a medical background, I understand Medicare. I understand how it works from the billing side of services, what Medicare covers along with the various plan options, and being compliant with all the rules and regulations.

Many of us overlook the cost of Long Term Care and far too many rely on Medicare to pay for this end of life event, but Medicare pays NOTHING for Long Term Care. With an average medical facility cost of $150,000 per year, many are faced with financial decisions when in crisis and have lost their options for securing such staggering costs.  Don’t let this happen to you!

Call me today and let me guide you through your Medicare and Long Term Care options and answer any of the questions you may have.

Planning today can save you thousands tomorrow!
